On Behalf of our client, a Retail F&B Company we are hiring for CTO. This role focuses on effectively utilizing technology to improve operational efficiency, enhance customer experience, and achieve business growth.
Responsibilities :
- Technology Strategy & Implementation:
- Collaborate with business leaders to understand their needs and translate them into actionable IT strategies.
- Identify, research, and recommend new technologies to improve Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, inventory management, and other critical applications.
- Oversee the implementation of these technologies, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
- Technology Operations & Security:
- Manage the company's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, network, and security systems.
- Implement and maintain robust security measures to safeguard company data and ensure system uptime.
- Develop and oversee disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime in case of emergencies.
- Application Management & Optimization:
- Oversee the maintenance and optimization of existing F&B retail applications, focusing on POS systems and inventory management tools.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance functionality and efficiency.
- Evaluate and recommend new applications to streamline operations or improve customer experience.
- Data Management:
- Establish processes for secure data collection, storage, and analysis.
- Collaborate with other departments to leverage data insights for informed decision-making.
Qualifications & Skills :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum 7 years of experience in an IT role within the retail industry, with a strong understanding of F&B retail specific technologies (POS systems, inventory management).
- Proven ability to manage and optimize technology infrastructure and applications.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical challenges.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various departments.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Working knowledge of data security best practices.
