About the job Head of Legal
As the Head of Legal, responsibilities include overseeing and managing all legal matters with strategic guidance for compliance, conducting legal research, and implementing effective strategies. Demonstrating strong communication skills, both internally and externally, negotiations with external parties, and collaboration with cross-functional teams are integral. This role also involves overseeing contract drafting and compliance, implementing programs to ensure legal standards, evaluating legal risks, leading and mentoring the legal team, and handling disputes and litigation matters with a focus on amicable resolutions and protecting the company's legal interests.
Qualifications:
- Possess a minimum of 10 years of combined experience, with a strong background in legal practice, ideally including time spent at a reputable law firm.
- Law degree and licensed to practice law.
- Proven track record of successful legal leadership and management.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
- Experience in diverse legal areas, including contracts, compliance, and dispute resolution.
