We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Head of Business Development to lead and execute our ambitious growth strategy within the F&B industry. You will be responsible for identifying and capturing new market opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and driving revenue through innovative business development initiatives. As Head of BD, you will play a crucial role in propelling our client company's expansion and positioning it as a leader in the F&B market.
Responsibilities:
- Market Analysis and Strategy:
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify new business opportunities and trends in the F&B industry.
- Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies aligned with the company's overall vision and goals.
- Analyze competitors and market dynamics to inform strategic decision-making.
- Business Development and Partnerships:
- Manage and lead the B2C business development team, including setting performance goals, coaching, and providing mentorship.
- Identify and target potential B2C partners across various channels (e.g., retail chains, event organizers, delivery platforms).
- Develop and negotiate strategic partnerships that drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
- Manage existing partnerships to ensure mutual benefit and value creation.
- Sales and Revenue Generation:
- Oversee the development and execution of sales strategies for new business initiatives.
- Lead B2C sales negotiations and close deals to secure new business partnerships and clients.
- Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders across departments (e.g., Marketing, Operations, Finance).
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to secure buy-in and funding for new initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with external partners and clients to build trust and ensure successful collaborations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in business development, preferably within the F&B industry or retail F&B companies.
- Proven track record of successfully identifying, developing, and closing high-value B2C partnerships.
- Strong understanding of B2C sales and marketing principles and techniques.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative, while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strategic thinking and analytical skills to identify market opportunities and develop winning business models.
- Passion for the F&B industry and a deep understanding of customer needs and trends.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
