Role Overview:

As the Country Sales Head for Malaysia, you will be responsible for driving the company's growth and market penetration in the country. You will oversee a team of sales professionals, develop and execute sales strategies, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for Malaysia, aligned with the overall business objectives.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and coaching to drive performance.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients across various industries.
  • Client Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction and driving repeat business.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the Malaysian market.
  • Revenue Generation: Achieve and exceed revenue targets for the Malaysian market, contributing to overall growth.
  • Competitive Analysis: Monitor the competitive landscape and develop strategies to differentiate offerings.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role within the fintech or payments industry with a minimum of 10 years in the payment industry. 
  • Minimum of 15 years in the commercial role. 
  • Strong understanding of the Malaysian market and its specific needs and challenges.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, marketing, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with a fintech company or in the payments industry.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in Malaysia.
  • Experience with CRM and salesforce automation tools.
  • Fluency in Malay and English.
