Automation Engineer Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Automation who has a proven track record of successfully implementing projects using Siemens automation devices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading our client automation team, driving innovation, and ensuring the seamless integration of Siemens automation solutions across our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Leadership:
   • Lead the planning, design, and implementation of automation projects using Siemens automation devices.
   • Provide technical expertise and guidance to the automation team throughout the project lifecycle.
   • Ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule while meeting quality standards.
2. Team Management:
   • Build and manage a high-performing automation team.
   • Provide mentoring, coaching, and technical guidance to team members.
   • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
3. Siemens Automation Expertise:
   • Demonstrate expert-level knowledge of Siemens automation devices and technologies.
   • Stay updated with the latest advancements in Siemens automation solutions and industry best practices.
   • Evaluate and recommend new Siemens products and technologies for implementation.
4. Collaboration and Communication:
   • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and IT, to ensure seamless integration of automation solutions.
   • Communicate project progress, issues, and solutions to stakeholders and leadership.
   • Provide regular updates and reports on automation projects to the management team.
5. Quality Assurance:
   • Implement rigorous quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability and performance of automation systems.
   • Conduct thorough testing and validation of Siemens automation solutions before deployment.
6. Compliance and Safety:
   • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols in all automation projects.
   • Implement and enforce best practices for safety and security in automation systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 of experience in leading automation projects, specifically using Siemens automation devices.
• Proven success in implementing complex automation solutions with a focus on efficiency and reliability.
• Strong knowledge of Siemens PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and other automation components.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
