Position Overview:

Our Client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial operations of a rapidly growing company. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a strong background in finance, accounting, and business management, with a preference for experience in the mining industry. As CFO, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial activities, ensuring strong financial health, and contributing to the company's long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the finance department, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support business strategy and decision-making.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective financial operations.
  • Provide strategic financial advice to senior management and the board of directors.
  • Manage cash flow, investments, and financial risks to maximize profitability and ensure financial stability.
  • Ensure the timely preparation of financial statements, tax filings, and regulatory reports.
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives and optimize financial processes.
  • Lead audits, tax planning, and corporate governance practices.
  • Support the companys long-term goals and help secure financing for growth initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a plus.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong background in the mining industry is highly preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Proven track record of strategic financial management and business partnering.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
