About the job PPIC Manager (Production Planning and Inventory Control)
Responsibility :
- Oversee and coordinate production planning, inventory management, and procurement processes to ensure efficient manufacturing and delivery of LED products.
- Develop and implement production schedules and capacity plans to meet demand forecasts and optimize resource utilization.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to align production processes with product specifications and quality standards.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
- Analyze production data and key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and components, negotiating contracts and resolving issues as needed.
- Coordinate with logistics and distribution teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.
- Lead and mentor a team of production planners, inventory controllers, and procurement staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Develop and maintain production and inventory reports, providing regular updates to senior management on performance, issues, and opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality control procedures in all aspects of production and inventory management.
- Continuously assess and improve production processes, utilizing lean manufacturing principles and best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in production planning, inventory management, and procurement, preferably within the LED or electronics industry.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain logistics, and quality control standards.
- Proficient in production planning software, ERP systems, and data analysis tools.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external partners.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards related to manufacturing and inventory management.
- Fluency in Indonesian and proficiency in English is preferred.
