About the job Financial Controller

The Financial Controller for Compound Park will oversee and manage the financial activities and strategies of Compound Park. This role will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, implementing effective financial controls, and providing strategic guidance to optimize financial performance.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
  • Develop annual budgets in alignment with business objectives.
  • Monitor financial performance and prepare regular forecasts.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.
  • Establish and maintain robust internal controls and procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations and company policies.
  • Manage cash flow and liquidity to meet operational needs.
  • Optimize investment strategies and financial resources.
  • Supervise and mentor the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Provide guidance and support for professional development.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights and recommendations.
  • Interface with external auditors, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles.
  • Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory financial capacity.
  • Strong understanding of financial management within the real estate, property, or park management industry.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, analysis, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards.
  • Demonstrated leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to make strategic financial decisions.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficient in financial software, ERP systems, and MS Office suite.
  • Masters degree or CPA preferred.
