Job Summary:
The Sales Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing a team of direct sales representatives, driving sales growth, and ensuring the successful implementation of sales strategies within the retail sector. This role requires strong leadership, a deep understanding of sales processes, and the ability to build and nurture client relationships while meeting and exceeding sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Supervise and guide a team of direct sales representatives to achieve sales goals.
  • Conduct regular training, coaching, and performance reviews to foster professional development and improve team performance.
  • Organize and lead sales meetings to assess progress, share insights, and address challenges.

Sales Strategy Execution:

  • Implement sales strategies aligned with organizational goals to expand financial product penetration in the retail sector.
  • Set clear sales targets, track progress, and drive the team toward achieving objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, identifying opportunities to refine sales approaches.

Retailer Engagement & Support:

  • Support the team in building strong relationships with retail partners and clients.
  • Ensure high-quality presentations, negotiations, and onboarding processes for new retailers.
  • Assist in resolving client concerns, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Track and analyze individual and team sales performance against targets.
  • Prepare detailed reports and insights for senior management, offering recommendations for improvement.
  • Use performance data to provide constructive feedback and actionable improvement plans for team members.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams such as marketing and product development to align sales efforts.
  • Relay feedback from retailers and the sales team to enhance product offerings and sales tools.
  • Ensure seamless communication and collaboration between team members and internal departments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and drive consistent sales performance.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Analytical mindset with a results-oriented approach.
  • Familiarity with financial products and experience in the retail industry is a plus.
