About the job VP of People
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced VP of People to lead our People & Culture strategy and support the company's rapid growth in the fintech space. This role requires a forward-thinking leader with a strong HR background across various functions, capable of building a robust company culture, driving transformation initiatives, and managing the entire HR spectrum, from talent acquisition to organizational development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Culture & People Development:
Drive a people-first culture by fostering an environment of collaboration, innovation, and growth. Lead the efforts to build and maintain a strong organizational culture that aligns with the company's values and mission.
- HR Strategy & Leadership:
Develop and implement HR strategies that support the overall business objectives. Serve as a strategic partner to the leadership team, providing insights on talent management, employee engagement, and workforce planning.
- Organizational Transformation & HR Systems:
Spearhead organizational transformation efforts, including the implementation of scalable HR systems and processes that support the company's growth. Oversee HR operations, ensuring effective use of HR technologies and data-driven decision-making.
- Talent Acquisition & Retention:
Lead the recruitment, retention, and development of top talent across the organization. Implement strategies for attracting high-caliber professionals in fintech and other related sectors, while promoting diversity and inclusion initiatives.
- Performance Management & Development:
Build and oversee robust performance management systems that encourage accountability, recognize excellence, and identify opportunities for improvement. Lead employee development programs that enhance leadership capabilities and technical skills.
- Employee Relations & Engagement:
Promote positive employee relations by maintaining open communication channels across all levels. Implement programs to improve employee engagement and ensure a productive and supportive workplace.
- Compliance & Governance:
Ensure that all HR practices and policies comply with local regulations and industry standards. Lead efforts to continuously improve governance and compliance frameworks within the HR function.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Fintech and Real Sectors:
Proven track record of HR leadership in fintech and/or real sector industries is highly preferred. Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments is essential.
- HR Expertise Across a Wide Spectrum:
Strong experience across all HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, organizational development, and performance management.
- Transformation & Change Leadership:
Demonstrated experience in leading large-scale HR transformation and implementing HR systems to drive operational efficiency and scale in dynamic environments.
- Leadership & Influence:
Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams. Proven ability to influence senior leadership and align people strategies with business goals.
- Strong Business Acumen:
An understanding of the fintech industry and the ability to align HR initiatives with the business strategy. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and labor laws in Indonesia.
Education:
A bachelors degree in human resources, business administration, or related field. A masters degree or professional HR certification is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in using HR analytics and HR technology platforms.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, innovative, and culturally diverse environment.
At least 10 years in Senior Management and leadership role.
