Job Description: Investment Associate 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify potential investment opportunities in start-ups and growth-stage companies.
  • Perform due diligence, including financial modeling, market sizing, and risk assessment.
  • Monitor and manage existing investments, tracking performance metrics and preparing regular reports for stakeholders.
  • Work closely with portfolio companies to provide strategic guidance and support operational improvements.
  • Negotiate term sheets and finalize investment agreements in collaboration with legal and compliance teams.
  • Develop and execute exit strategies for portfolio investments.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes to inform investment decisions.
  • Identify new sectors or geographies for potential expansion.
  • Build and maintain relationships with entrepreneurs, co-investors, and industry experts.
  • Present investment opportunities and portfolio updates to senior management and investors.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA or CFA designation is a strong advantage).
  • 8-10 years of experience in investment management, with a focus on venture capital, private equity, or related fields.
  • Prior experience with one of the Big 4 accounting firms is required.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and investment analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of due diligence processes and deal structuring.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization platforms.
  • High level of initiative and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of successful investments and exits in a venture capital or private equity setting.
  • Have experience in handling private funding
