As a Senior Trade Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing trade marketing strategies to drive brand visibility, sales growth, and customer engagement in the Makassar region. You will work closely with sales, marketing, and distributor teams to optimize trade activities and ensure strong market execution.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement regional trade marketing strategies to enhance brand presence and sales performance.
- Design and execute in-store promotions, visibility programs, and merchandising activities.
- Ensure alignment between trade marketing and overall brand strategy.
- Work closely with sales teams and distributors to execute trade programs effectively.
- Monitor and analyze sell-in and sell-out data to optimize promotional activities.
- Provide trade marketing support to enhance distributor performance and engagement.
- Conduct market analysis to understand consumer behavior, competitor activities, and category trends.
- Identify growth opportunities and develop initiatives to capture market share.
- Measure the effectiveness of trade marketing programs and provide insights for improvement.
- Manage trade marketing budgets to ensure efficient allocation of resources.
- Track ROI on trade marketing activities and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Ensure all trade programs comply with company guidelines and industry regulations.
- Liaise with brand marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless execution of trade initiatives.
- Align trade marketing activities with national marketing campaigns and new product launches.
- Provide training and guidance to sales and distributor teams on trade marketing
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 7-10 years of trade marketing experience in the FMCG (Food) industry.
- Strong understanding of retail execution, merchandising, and category management.
- Experience working with distributors, wholesalers, and modern trade channels.
- Proven ability to analyze sales data and market trends to drive growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, Nielsen, and other trade analytics tools.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience handling trade marketing in Eastern Indonesia (Makassar & surrounding areas).
- Strong relationships with retailers and distributors in the region.
- Knowledge of digital trade marketing strategies is a plus.
