About the job VP of Business Development
Our client, a multI-national IT company, specializes in creating web and mobile applications and providing IT consulting services. They're seeking a Head of BD to join their team. The Head of BD will focus on acquiring new customers by meeting prospects, qualifying leads, building relationships, pitching to key stakeholders, and closing deals.
Job Description:
- Lead the sales team to develop and implement programs for acquiring new clients.
- Close deals to meet/exceed assigned sales targets.
- Build a network and identify business opportunities through events and networking.
- Respond to inbound leads via email or conference calls.
- Make sales presentations to prospects.
- Participate in RFP, RFI, RFQ & Tenders.
- Negotiate contracts with prospective clients.
- Manage customer data on the CRM system.
- Lead the sales team to produce accurate and timely reports for Business Development.
Job Requirements:
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
- Solid min 10 years of B2B sales experience within IT industry is MUST.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Strong negotiation, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Solid experience in building and managing sales teams.
- Experience in cross-cultural, international environments.
- Experience with international projects is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related position.
- Background in the IT industry is MUST.
