CEO / COO

Our client is a leading player in the logistics, shipping, and supply chain industry, with a strong regional presence. We are seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to drive the next phase of growth and operational excellence. This role offers flexibility, where the title and scope of responsibilities will be based on the candidates experience, either as a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) or Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a long-term strategic vision, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of the logistics and supply chain industry. Identify opportunities for growth, operational improvements, and expansion into new markets.
• Operational Excellence: Lead and optimize shipping, warehousing, and supply chain operations, driving efficiency, cost savings, and innovative solutions to improve customer experience.
• Team Leadership: Inspire and manage a high-performing leadership team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and results.
• Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations to expand the company's reach and strengthen its market position.
• Financial Oversight: Oversee the company's financial performance, ensuring sustainable growth, profitability, and effective cost management. Set financial targets, budgets, and performance metrics.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to industry regulations, standards, and best practices while managing risk and protecting the company's assets and reputation.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, business partners, government bodies, and shareholders.

Qualifications:

• Proven Leadership Experience: Minimum of 10 years in senior leadership roles within the logistics, shipping, or supply chain industry. At least 5 years in a CEO, COO, or equivalent role, demonstrating success in driving operational excellence and business growth.
• Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of logistics, shipping, warehousing, and supply chain management, with a proven track record of delivering operational improvements, profitability, and market expansion.
• Strategic Vision: Ability to develop and implement effective strategies that position the company for long-term success in a competitive industry.
• Financial Acumen: Expertise in P&L management, budgeting, and financial performance metrics to ensure sustainability and profitability.
• People Leadership: Strong leadership and communication skills with a focus on inspiring and guiding diverse teams toward shared goals.
• Relationship Building: Proven ability to engage with key stakeholders, including customers, business partners, and regulatory bodies, to ensure business success.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to navigate complex business challenges and drive operational and strategic improvements.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in digital transformation and leveraging advanced technologies within the logistics and supply chain sectors.
• Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements in the logistics and shipping industries, particularly in Southeast Asia.
• Global business experience or expertise in managing international supply chains.
