This is your chance to lead a high-performing IT Audit team at a leading company in the industry. We're seeking a seasoned professional with a Big 4 background (highly valued plus) to navigate the complexities of IT risk management and ensure the security and integrity of our client information systems.
Your Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Provide vision and direction for the IT Audit department, aligning its activities with the company's overall business objectives and risk management strategy.
- Comprehensive IT Audit Planning: Develop and implement a robust IT audit plan that prioritizes critical areas like IT security, data integrity, access controls, and disaster recovery.
- Hands-on IT Audits: Conduct in-depth assessments of IT controls to identify potential vulnerabilities and evaluate their effectiveness.
- Risk Mitigation Pro: Identify IT risks, analyze their impact on the organization, and propose actionable recommendations and mitigation strategies.
- Clear Communication: Prepare clear and concise audit reports, effectively communicating findings, recommendations, and action plans to management.
- Mentorship and Coaching: Lead and manage a team of IT auditors, providing coaching, mentoring, and ensuring adherence to professional auditing standards.
- Continuous Learning: Stay current on the latest IT audit methodologies, tools, and regulations, ensuring the team utilizes the most effective approaches.
- Collaboration is Key: Foster strong relationships with IT and other departments to facilitate collaboration and information exchange during audits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Accounting, or a related field (CPA or CISA certification a plus).
- Minimum12 years of experience in IT audit, preferably within a large and complex organization.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing IT audit teams (Big 4 experience highly valued).
- Strong understanding of IT controls, risk management frameworks (COBIT, COSO, etc.), and IT audit methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and industry-standard IT audit software.
