Technical Development - Chinese Speaker

Our client is a leading provider of raw materials for the F&B (B2B) industry with over five decades of experience. They are seeking a passionate and innovative Technical Development to join their growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute new product concepts, considering technical feasibility, market needs, and cost optimization.
• Conduct research on industry trends, ingredients, techniques, and consumer preferences.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.
• Troubleshoot technical challenges related to the product functionality and baking performance.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for the products.
• Conduct baking trials and demonstrations to showcase product benefits.
• Stay updated on advancements in food technology and baking science.
• Manage the technical development budget effectively.
• Participate in industry events to represent the company.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in food industry technical roles, preferably in raw materials or baking.
• Proven experience in developing and launching new food products.
• Strong understanding of food science principles, especially flour functionality and baking performance.
• In-depth knowledge of baking techniques and applications.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
• Customer-facing proficiency and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skill in English and Bahasa Indonesia. 
• Fluency in MANDARIN is a must. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic knowledge of baking software applications.
