The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of a healthcare organization. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement long-term operational strategies aligned with the organization's overall business objectives.
- Operational Oversight: Oversee all aspects of the organization's operations, including clinical services, patient care, facilities management, and administrative functions.
- Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and ensure operational profitability.
- Human Resources: Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing team of healthcare professionals and support staff.
- Quality Improvement: Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care outcomes and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with patients, physicians, staff, board members, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
- Master's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field.
- Medical Graduates are welcome.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in healthcare operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale healthcare organizations.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Deep understanding of the healthcare industry, including regulatory requirements, reimbursement models, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Strong financial acumen and ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Knowledge of healthcare information technology (HIT)
