About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Chief People Officer to lead our Human Resources function. This critical role will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive people strategy that aligns with our overall business objectives. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of all facets of HR, coupled with a strong operational mindset and a passion for driving transformation. This role requires a leader who thrives in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment and is comfortable interacting with executive leadership and the Board of Directors.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a holistic people strategy encompassing talent acquisition, performance management, learning and development, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and organizational development.
  • Lead and mentor the HR team, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive HR transformation initiatives, leveraging technology and data-driven insights to optimize HR processes and enhance the employee experience.
  • Partner with business leaders to understand their talent needs and develop tailored solutions to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
  • Oversee the full employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations.
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes employee engagement and well-being.
  • Manage the HR budget and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
  • Provide regular updates to the executive team and Board of Directors on key HR metrics and initiatives.
  • Champion the company's culture and values, ensuring they are reflected in all HR programs and practices.
  • Be a hands-on leader, willing to delve into the details of HR operations and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience (20+ years) in Human Resources, with a proven track record of success in leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated expertise in all areas of HR, including talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and organizational development.
  • Deep understanding of HR technology and experience implementing HRIS systems.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to align HR strategy with business objectives.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including the Board of Directors and executive team.
  • Experience working in both corporate and technology environments is highly desirable.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Hands-on mentality and attention to detail.
