Overview
The Finance & Tax Accounting role is essential in overseeing the companys financial operations, ensuring accurate accounting, tax compliance, and financial reporting. This position involves managing budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow while supporting strategic financial planning to drive business growth.
Responsibilities
- Oversee financial operations, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management.
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Monitor financial performance, analyze trends, and provide insights to senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business decisions.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and reconciliations.
- Ensure tax compliance by managing filings, payments, and audits.
- Maintain accurate financial records, enforce internal controls, and ensure policy adherence.
- Support accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes, validate journal entries, and assist with audits.
- Conduct financial analysis, provide recommendations, and prepare variance reports.
- Act as a liaison with tax authorities, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Taxation from a reputable university.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, and Tax.
- Experience in a multinational company is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements, including Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss Reports, and Accounting Journals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- In-depth understanding of Taxation and Financial Reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in written and spoken English.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and stay updated on tax regulations.
- Possession of Brevet A & B certifications.
