Responsibilities:

  • Lead efforts in financial modeling and valuation for strategic decision-making.
  • Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for strategic investments.
  • Conduct due diligence and evaluate investment proposals to maximize returns.
  • Monitor and manage the performance of the companys investment portfolio.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee audits and ensure adherence to financial best practices and governance.
  • Strategic Leadership:

  • Collaborate with the executive team to shape and execute the companys strategic initiatives.
  • Provide financial insights to support key business decisions and operational improvements.
  • Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role.
  • Strong expertise in fundraising, corporate finance, and investment management.
  • Bachelor's or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A CPA, CFA, or MBA is preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in securing funding and managing investor relations.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting techniques.
  • Familiarity with the shipping and logistics industry is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building high-performing finance teams.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on achieving measurable results.
