Position Summary:
We are looking for a strategic, results-driven, and visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead our FMCG operations in Indonesia. Based in Jakarta, the CEO will be responsible for setting and executing the companys strategic direction, ensuring operational excellence, driving market growth, and delivering sustainable value for stakeholders in one of Southeast Asia's most dynamic consumer markets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership:
- Define and execute long-term business strategies in line with local and regional market trends.
- Lead market expansion initiatives, including penetration in Tier 2 & Tier 3 cities across Indonesia.
2. Business Operations:
- Oversee all business functions production, procurement, logistics, sales, marketing, finance, HR, and regulatory compliance.
- Drive supply chain efficiency and manufacturing excellence in line with best-in-class FMCG standards.
3. Commercial Growth & Market Leadership:
- Strengthen brand equity and market share in competitive FMCG categories (e.g., food, beverages, personal care, household goods).
- Build strong relationships with modern trade, general trade, e-commerce platforms, and local distributors.
4. Financial Stewardship:
- Manage full P&L accountability for Indonesia operations.
- Ensure financial discipline, risk control, and compliance with local tax, labor, and trade regulations.
5. Leadership & Culture:
- Lead and develop a high-performing leadership team.
- Foster a strong performance-driven culture rooted in innovation, agility, and local market understanding.
6. External Relations:
- Represent the company with key government bodies, regulatory authorities (e.g., BPOM, Ministry of Industry), trade associations, and media.
- Manage investor and board communications effectively.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 15 years of leadership experience in the FMCG sector, with at least 5 years in an executive role.
- Proven track record of driving growth, innovation, and profitability in Indonesia or similar emerging markets.
- In-depth knowledge of the Indonesian consumer market, retail landscape, distribution models, and regulatory environment.
- Experience managing diverse teams and large-scale operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA or equivalent is preferred.
