Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and strategic PMO Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of cross-functional projects within a fast-paced manufacturing and FMCG environment. This role will establish project management standards, provide governance, and ensure timely delivery of initiatives aligned with business goalsranging from product innovation, operational efficiency, digital transformation, to expansion projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Governance & Framework
- Define and implement standardized project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, hybrid) across departments.
- Establish and maintain project governance structures, reporting protocols, and risk management practices.
- Ensure all projects comply with internal processes, budgets, and timelines.
2. Portfolio Management
- Manage the companys overall project portfolio, prioritizing initiatives based on strategic value, resource availability, and risk.
- Provide visibility to senior management on the status, impact, and performance of ongoing projects.
3. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Serve as a central liaison between departments (e.g., R&D, Operations, Marketing, Finance, IT, Supply Chain) to align on project objectives and execution plans.
- Monitor interdependencies across projects and proactively resolve resource conflicts or bottlenecks.
4. Project Monitoring & Reporting
- Track progress, milestones, deliverables, and KPIs of all active projects.
- Prepare and present regular reports and dashboards for executives and stakeholders.
- Identify and escalate risks, delays, and deviations from scope or budget.
5. Resource & Capacity Planning
- Assist department heads in estimating resource needs and allocating manpower effectively across initiatives.
- Monitor team workloads and adjust project plans to optimize productivity.
6. Continuous Improvement
- Identify gaps or inefficiencies in project execution and propose process enhancements.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning by documenting best practices, lessons learned, and key success factors.
- Lead post-implementation reviews to evaluate project outcomes and ROI.
7. Change Management & Stakeholder Engagement
- Support change management strategies related to project rollouts, especially in operational or digital transformation.
- Ensure stakeholder alignment through regular updates, feedback loops, and transparent communication.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field. PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification is a strong plus.
- Experience: 6-8 years of experience in project or portfolio management, ideally within FMCG, food manufacturing, or related industries.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello, Smartsheet, or similar)
- Strong understanding of budgeting, resource planning, and risk management
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and leadership abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work across multiple levels of the organization
- Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset
