Dept. Head Operations - Nickel Mining

Position: Mine Operation Coordinator (Nickel)
Roster: 8:2
Location: Sulawesi Tenggara

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily mining operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-productivity performance in line with company targets
• Ensure readiness and optimal utilization of equipment, operators, and support teams to meet production plans (annual, monthly, weekly, and daily targets)
• Monitor and control the use of heavy equipment, ensuring compliance with K3LH standards and implementation of Mining Safety Management System (SMKP Minerba)
• Coordinate cross-functional teams on site to ensure smooth execution of operational activities
• Provide direction, guidance, and performance management to field teams to achieve operational goalsPrepare and deliver periodic reports to the Deputy Project Manager, covering production achievements, operational challenges, and action plans
• Review and evaluate mine plans versus actual field execution, and recommend improvements for operational efficiency



Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role (Department Head / Superintendent) within mining operations
• Strong leadership capability with proven experience in managing and coordinating large operational teams
• Solid understanding of open-pit mining operations, production flow, and heavy equipment utilization
• Mandatory certification: POM (Pengawas Operasional Madya); POU certification is an advantage
• Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills
• Willing to be assigned to site locations in Central Sulawesi or Southeast Sulawesi under an 8:2 roster system
