Job Description
We are representing a diversified business group with a strong presence across industrial, financial, and technology-enabled sectors, currently expanding its digital and enterprise solutions capabilities. This role sits at the intersection of sales, technology, and delivery. The Solution Architect will support complex pre-sales engagements, define solution blueprints, and ensure that proposed solutions are commercially viable, technically sound, and executable on a scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Design: Architect end-to-end digital and IT solutions that address client business challenges while aligning with delivery capabilities.
- Pre-Sales Support: Partner closely with sales teams during pursuit cycles by contributing to solution scoping, proposal development, and technical presentations.
- Business Translation: Convert customer requirements into structured solution architectures that balance functionality, cost, scalability, and risk.
- GTM Enablement: Support go-to-market initiatives by shaping solution offerings, value propositions, and differentiation strategies.
- Commercial Alignment: Provide input on solution costing, pricing assumptions, and delivery considerations to support deal feasibility.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to customers and internal stakeholders throughout the sales and solutioning lifecycle.
- Delivery Readiness: Ensure smooth handover from pre-sales to delivery teams by maintaining clarity on scope, architecture, and execution assumptions.
- Market Awareness: Stay current on technology trends, industry developments, and competitive offerings to continuously refine solution approaches.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
- Typically 5–8+ years of experience in solution architecture, pre-sales engineering, or technical consulting roles.
- Strong experience designing enterprise solutions such as cloud platforms, data & analytics, applications, infrastructure, security, or managed services.
- Solid understanding of solution economics, including costing models and delivery trade-offs.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment with multiple concurrent pursuits.
- Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills.
