Head of Mining Operations - PJO

Job Summary

The PJO is fully responsible for overseeing mining operations, ensuring production targets, safety compliance, operational efficiency, and regulatory adherence.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily mining activities in accordance with SOP and mining regulations
• Ensure production targets are achieved safely and efficiently
• Monitor operational performance including heavy equipment utilization and manpower productivity
• Manage operational costs including fuel consumption and equipment efficiency
• Ensure full compliance with government mining regulations (including Kepmen requirements)
• Lead operational teams and maintain strong coordination with supervisors and contractors
• Analyze production data and prepare regular operational reports
• Implement improvements to enhance productivity and cost efficiency
• Maintain good communication with management and relevant stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years experience as PJO in nickel mining operations
• POM and Safety certifications (mandatory)
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills
• Strong understanding of mining production planning and fleet management
• Proficient in English
• Willing to be placed on site and join immediately
