About the job Logistic Solution Manager
Our client a well-established and fast-growing industrial group with integrated operations across energy-related infrastructure, specialty chemicals, and liquid bulk storage solutions. Due to business expansion, we are seeking a highly capable Logistics Solution Manager. This role combines strong technical engineering expertise with structured project governance and commercial acumen, particularly in the development of tank farms for leasing and internal operational utilization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Engineering & Technical Oversight
- Lead feasibility studies, site assessments, and conceptual/basic engineering design.
- Oversee detailed engineering review for atmospheric and pressurized storage tanks, piping networks, pumping systems, and safety instrumentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable international and local standards.
- Evaluate material selection, corrosion management systems, and integrity management programs.
- Supervise commissioning, hydrotesting, and performance validation processes.
2. EPC & Project Management
- Manage EPC contractors throughout the project lifecycle, from tender evaluation to final handover.
- Establish and monitor project scope, WBS (Work Breakdown Structure), cost baseline, and schedule baseline.
- Apply structured project management methodologies (PMBOK or equivalent framework).
- Utilize project control tools such as:
- MS Project for scheduling
- Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Risk Register & Mitigation Matrix
- CAPEX forecasting and cost tracking models
- Conduct reviews and ensure strong HSSE governance.
- Lead cross-functional coordination across engineering, procurement, finance, and operations teams.
3. Commercial & Asset Optimization
- Develop business cases for tank leasing and storage utilization models.
- Conduct financial feasibility analysis.
- Optimize asset utilization rates and operational throughput.
- Evaluate expansion potential and long-term infrastructure investment planning.
4. Team Leadership
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- Ability to operate within a dynamic, growth-oriented industrial environment
- Proven track record on managerial level
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline. Masters degree is an advantage.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in:
- Oil & gas infrastructure, chemical manufacturing, or liquid bulk warehousing.
- Design and construction of tank farms and related facilities.
- Direct collaboration with EPC contractors in large-scale industrial projects.
- Demonstrated experience managing CAPEX-intensive projects.
- Strong understanding of:
- Tank design codes
- Process safety management
- Mechanical integrity and asset reliability frameworks
- Proven project leadership with structured governance and reporting discipline.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials are highly desirable.
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to integrate technical and commercial decision-making.
