Manager - Coconut Collection

We are seeking a Manager Generalist – Coconut Collection to oversee and manage end-to-end coconut sourcing activities. This role is responsible for ensuring stable supply, quality control, and smooth operations across coconut collection points, suppliers, and field teams. The role requires strong operational understanding, hands-on leadership, and the ability to work closely with farmers and local partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of coconut collection from farmers, collectors, and local suppliers
• Ensure consistent supply volume and quality of coconuts in line with processing requirements
• Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, cooperatives, and local vendors
• Monitor harvesting schedules, collection logistics, and delivery timelines to processing facilities
• Oversee pricing alignment, basic contract agreements, and fair trade practices with suppliers
• Supervise field teams and collection staff, ensuring operational discipline and productivity
• Identify and resolve on-site operational issues related to supply, quality, or logistics
• Coordinate with processing, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure smooth downstream operations
• Prepare simple operational reports on supply volume, quality issues, and field conditions
• Ensure compliance with company standards, safety, and local regulations

Requirements

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in agribusiness, plantation, raw material sourcing, or commodity collection
• Strong understanding of agricultural supply chains, preferably coconut or similar commodities
• Experience working directly with farmers or rural supply networks
• Hands-on, field-oriented, and comfortable working in remote or plantation areas
• Strong coordination and communication skills
• Able to manage people, processes, and daily operational challenges
• Willing to be placed and travel within sourcing areas in Indonesia
