SENIOR POWER BI DEVELOPER

Role: Senior Power BI Developer

Location: Hybrid – Porto (2x per week)

Requirements:

3+ years of hands-on experience designing and building interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service (Cloud)

Implementation of advanced data visualization techniques to communicate insights effectively

Strong experience in data modelling, Power Query, and advanced DAX optimization for enterprise-scale solutions

Proven experience with Gen1 and Gen2 Dataflows in Power BI

Experience drafting and illustrating BI architecture diagrams for scalable solutions

Experience supporting Scorecards management and updates within SharePoint

Familiarity with Power Apps and Dataverse tables to create integrated solutions supporting business processes

Ability to ensure seamless connectivity between data sources and BI tools

Experience monitoring and optimizing BI solutions for performance, scalability, and security

Strong understanding of data governance and compliance best practices

Ability to partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into actionable BI solutions

Experience supporting KPI close responsibilities, including Monthly and Quarterly KPI analysis (variance, drivers, decliners, trend analysis)

Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL

Proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and complex data modelling

Advanced Power BI customization (custom visuals, themes, branding)

Familiarity with CI/CD for BI deployments and version control

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Fluency in English (written and spoken); Portuguese is a plus
