Role: Senior Backend Engineer

Location: Porto (Hybrid)

Required skills:

• 7+ years of experience in backend development
• Strong expertise in Java (17+) and Spring Boot
• Experience developing microservices architectures
• Experience building and integrating REST APIs
• Knowledge of SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or Oracle
• Experience with JPA / Hibernate
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of event-driven or distributed architectures
• Experience ensuring performance, scalability and reliability of applications
• Experience participating in code reviews and engineering best practices
• Experience with cloud environments (valued)
• Fluent English
