The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing secretarial, clerical and administrative support to ensure the department operates in an efficient and effective manner. The Bilingual Administrative Assistant will serve as a bridge between team members facility communication and understanding between the company's English and Spanish speaking populations.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide bilingual support in multiple facets for the company's Spanish speaking population.
  • Facilitate in Spanish, new hire safety orientation.
  • Facilitate in Spanish, monthly safety meetings, with support from the team.
  • Provide word-processing and administrative support to include translating English documents to Spanish documents and vice versa.
  • Direct the general public in the appropriate manner.
  • Receive, direct and relay messages to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain electronic and paper filing system.
  • Provide word-processing and administrative support to the team
  • Order office supplies.
  • Maintain a clean and presentable office daily.
  • All other duties and tasks as required by management.

Required skills and qualifications

  • Proficient in both English and Spanish languages and able to code-switch effectively and efficiently.
  • Proficient user of MS Office.
  • Great time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Requires confidentiality in all matters related to personnel.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills along with cultural awareness.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and work well in a fast paced, evolving organization.
