Job Overview:

The Internal Audit Manager will support the AVP-Internal Audit & Risk Management (AVP-IA&RM) in overseeing the Internal Audit Department. Key responsibilities include guiding and supervising the audit team, helping develop and implement the annual audit plan, conducting complex audits, and ensuring timely follow-up on audit findings. The role also includes preparing reports and presentations for management and external meetings.

Job Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy.

Experience:

• 8+ years in internal and external audit, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Experience in retail is preferred.
• Proven experience in managing and developing audit teams.

Certifications:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), and/or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) are preferred.
• An MBA is a plus.

Skills & Competencies:

• Proficient in Internal Audit Standards (e.g., International Professional Practices Framework).
• Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Solid business acumen and experience in risk management.
• Leadership and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and influence key stakeholders.
