Job Objective:
The Brand Specialist – Global Sourcing supports the Brand Manager in developing, implementing, and managing brand strategies for assigned product categories. The role works closely with the Brand Manager to execute product development initiatives, coordinate new product launches, maintain brand consistency, and monitor market trends. It also collaborates with Merchandising, Marketing, Warehouses & Stores to ensure products meet customer needs while aligning with the company's brand standards and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Brand Manager in planning and executing brand strategies and initiatives for assigned product categories.
- Assist in the development of new products, including packaging design, product naming, branding, and labeling requirements.
- Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and consumer trend analysis to identify opportunities for product and brand growth.
- Assist in planning and executing new product launches, promotional activities, and brand campaigns.
- Ensure consistent application of brand guidelines across product packaging, marketing materials, and other customer touchpoints.
- Monitor product performance, sales trends, and customer feedback, and recommend improvements to the Brand Manager.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and brand performance analyses for management review.
- Track project timelines and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure branding deliverables are completed on schedule.
- Maintain organized records of product information, brand assets, and project documentation.
- Perform other brand management and product development responsibilities as assigned by the Brand Manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Internship experience or academic projects related to marketing, branding, product development, merchandising, or retail are an advantage.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
