Position: Building Maintenance Technician

Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Building Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of all our company buildings and facilities. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct regular inspections of all company buildings and facilities to identify any maintenance issues or repairs needed

- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry

- Troubleshoot and repair any mechanical or electrical systems within the buildings

- Respond to any emergency maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner

- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for any major repairs or renovations

- Maintain a detailed record of all maintenance activities and expenses

- Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed at all times

- Keep all work areas clean and organized

- Assist with other tasks and projects as needed

Qualifications:

-With NCII qualifications of the relevant discipline

• At least college graduate of a technical/vocational course
• Strong knowledge of building systems and equipment, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed
