STP Operator (Calumpit & San Nicolas, Pampanga)

Job Overview

The STP Operator is responsible for the day-to-day operation, monitoring, and basic maintenance of the Sewage Treatment Plant to ensure proper wastewater treatment and compliance with environmental and safety standards. The role includes checking equipment performance, recording operational data, and promptly reporting any issues or abnormalities.

• System Operation: Operate and monitor pumps, motors, filters, and chemical treatment systems to treat sewage efficiently.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on all plant machinery to ensure continuous operation.
• Water Testing: Collect and analyze sewage and water samples to ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
• Documentation: Record daily operational data, test results, and maintenance logs accurately.
• Troubleshooting: Address alarms and operational issues promptly to prevent system failures.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: High school or College diploma or equivalent, with technical training in wastewater management preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience in operating STP, ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant), or WTP (Water Treatment Plant) facilities.
