Project Engineer

Position: Project Engineer under Wilcon Corp.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to oversee construction projects from pre-construction planning through project completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing plans and project requirements, supervising site activities, coordinating materials, monitoring project progress, and ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Construction

• Review complete construction plans and specifications prior to project implementation.
• Review Bill of Materials (BOM) and Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
• Perform material take-offs, breakdowns, and project cost estimations.
• Prepare and review shop drawings and detailed construction plans.

Site Supervision

• Supervise daily construction activities to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections and resolve construction-related issues.
• Monitor project schedules, milestones, and overall construction progress.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports.

Materials and Project Monitoring

• Prepare and process Material Requests and Change Orders through company systems.
• Monitor material deliveries and equipment requirements at project sites.
• Receive and verify incoming Purchase Order and interoffice withdrawal items.
• Maintain accurate records of project materials, manpower, and construction activities.

Project Coordination

• Serve as the primary liaison between the site team, contractors, suppliers, and management.
• Identify and resolve technical, operational, and logistical issues that may impact project execution.
• Ensure smooth communication among all project stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Licensed Civil Engineer is an advantage
• Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in construction project management, site supervision, or project engineering
• Experience handling residential, commercial, warehouse, retail, or industrial construction projects

Knowledgeable in:

• Structural Works
• Architectural Works
• Plumbing Works
• Finishing Works
• Quantity Surveying and Cost Estimation
• Shop Drawing Preparation
• Construction Documentation

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and construction-related software
• Strong leadership, coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills

Other Requirements

• Willing to be assigned anywhere in the Philippines
• Willing to conduct field work and site inspections
• Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
