As Sous Chef, youll play a pivotal role in maintaining high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation. You will oversee daily operations, support staff training and development, and ensure smooth execution of service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the kitchen team and manage operations in the absence of the Executive Chef

  • Ensure consistency and excellence in food preparation, quality, and presentation

  • Assist in menu development, recipe execution, and seasonal specials

  • Supervise, train, and mentor line cooks and prep staff to support growth and efficiency

  • Oversee inventory management, ordering, and cost control measures

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant kitchen in line with health and safety standards

  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to uphold the restaurants culinary vision and guest satisfaction

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef, Kitchen Manager, or strong Lead Line Cook ready for the next step

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team

  • Proven ability to handle high-volume, fast-paced service with composure

  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper kitchen procedures

  • Creativity and passion for delivering memorable dining experiences
