Principal Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Development:

  • Directly oversee a team of Supervisors and Promoters, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Coach, evaluate performance, and support the professional development of team members.

Cross-Functional Coordination:

  • Act as the primary liaison between retail and cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Trade, and Sales.
  • Ensure alignment of goals and a unified approach to maximize retail efficiency and effectiveness.

Operational Excellence:

  • Develop and refine operational guidelines and processes to enhance efficiency at the store level, particularly within Supermarket, Hypermarket, and Local Modern Trade environments.
  • Implement and standardize in-store execution processes to ensure consistency and continuous improvement.

Compliance and Monitoring:

  • Monitor compliance with internal standards and assess competitive activities within the retail space.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to the commercial team based on observed impacts and potential opportunities.

Strategic Execution:

  • Define and implement strategies for optimal placement and routing of field execution workforces.
  • Develop and maintain organizational capabilities, improve team dynamics, and reduce staff turnover.

Performance Management:

  • Track and evaluate Business KPIs, including sales performance, productivity, and operational standards.
  • Develop and execute targeted action plans to address performance gaps and optimize sales against budget expectations.

Required Experience/Skills:

  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 years in sales, commercial, or support roles, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership capacity managing teams.
  • Analytical Proficiency: Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills, with high proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication skills, capable of articulating information effectively and engaging with teams across various organizational levels.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Additional Requirements:

  • Experience managing store-level execution, specifically within Supermarket, Hypermarket, and Local Modern Trade formats, is highly desirable.
