Position Title: Junior IT Generalist

Department: Marketing Technology (Information Technology)

Job Summary: The Junior IT Generalist is responsible for providing essential IT support and maintenance across the company's infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networks. This role involves troubleshooting issues, managing user accounts, and supporting various teams within the company, including HR, admin, and the data team. The ideal candidate will also have experience with Google Workspace, cloud platforms, and ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

IT Support:

  • Provide day-to-day technical support to all departments, resolving software, hardware, and network issues.

  • Assist users with technical challenges, such as login issues, software installation, and network connectivity.

User Management:

  • Administer and manage user accounts, permissions, and access within the company’s IT systems (e.g., Google Workspace).

  • Set up new employee accounts and ensure proper IT onboarding.

System and Hardware Maintenance:

  • Install, configure, and maintain company hardware, including computers, printers, and routers.

  • Ensure company systems and networks are updated and function smoothly.

Network Management:

  • Monitor and maintain the company’s network infrastructure, troubleshooting connectivity issues as they arise.

  • Work with external providers to resolve complex networking issues if necessary.

Collaboration with HR, Admin, and Data Teams:

  • Work closely with the HR, admin, and data teams to address their specific IT needs.

  • Provide technical assistance for data-related operations and integration with other IT systems.

Documentation and Process Development:

  • Create and maintain technical documentation for common issues, user guides, and IT processes.

  • Develop best practices for IT troubleshooting and system maintenance.

(Optional) ERP System Management:

  • Assist in maintaining and supporting the company’s ERP systems.

  • Provide user support and training related to ERP functionality and usage.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Experience: 1-2 years in an IT support or similar role; relevant internship or project experience for fresh graduates.

  • Familiarity with troubleshooting and maintaining software, hardware, and networks.

  • Software Knowledge: Google Workspace, cloud platforms, basic ERP knowledge is a plus.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.

  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

  • A proactive and service-oriented mindset.
