About the Role
We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our clients innovative team. A leading network of community development financial institutions (CDFIs) empowers underserved communities by expanding access to capital and financial services. They drive economic justice through training, advocacy, and support for initiatives that promote sustainable growth and social impact. In this role, you will provide high-level administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the office. You will manage daily tasks, coordinate schedules, and assist in streamlining processes to contribute to the teams success.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support
Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments for team members and leadership.
Prepare, edit, and distribute correspondence, reports, and presentations.
Organize and maintain physical and electronic files to ensure accurate and efficient record-keeping.
Office Coordination
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external inquiries.
Order and maintain office supplies, ensuring the office is stocked and operational.
Coordinate logistics for events, conferences, and meetings, including catering and venue arrangements.
Communication & Collaboration
Act as a liaison between departments and external stakeholders to facilitate effective communication.
Screen and route phone calls, emails, and other correspondence appropriately.
Assist with onboarding new employees, including setting up workspaces and providing necessary materials.
Project Assistance
Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.
Conduct research and compile data for reports and decision-making purposes.
Monitor deadlines and follow up on pending tasks to ensure timely completion.
Qualifications and Skills
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; an associates or bachelors degree is preferred.
Experience
Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role.
Proficiency with office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and in a team.
