About the Role:

As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, streamlining processes, and ensuring the efficient delivery of products and services to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align operational goals with overall business objectives.
  • Conduct regular analysis of market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for improvement.

Retail and Customer Service:

  • Apply retail expertise to enhance customer experience and satisfaction.
  • Implement strategies to improve customer service processes and ensure a positive retail experience.

Warehouse and Inventory Management:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storage, and distribution of goods.
  • Implement best practices for inventory management, including accurate tracking, cycle counting, and stock rotation.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and organization to maximize space utilization and minimize errors.

Logistics and Order Fulfillment:

  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of orders, shipments, and deliveries to meet customer expectations.
  • Coordinate with logistics partners to optimize transportation routes, reduce lead times, and minimize shipping costs.
  • Monitor order fulfillment metrics and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead and mentor the operations team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence within the operations department.
  • Identify training needs and professional development opportunities for team members to enhance skills and capabilities.

Process Improvement and Quality Assurance:

  • Analyze operational performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct regular audits and quality inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and operational procedures.
  • Implement quality assurance processes to minimize errors, defects, and customer complaints.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including, marketing, and procurement to align operational processes with business objectives.
  • Participate in cross-departmental meetings and initiatives to drive alignment and coordination across the organization.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to provide updates, address concerns, and solicit feedback.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and operational policies and procedures.
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks, including supply chain disruptions, inventory shortages, and security threats.
  • Stay informed about industry regulations, market trends, and emerging technologies to anticipate challenges and opportunities.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the retail or e-commerce industry.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, logistics, inventory management, and order fulfillment processes.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse workforce.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute operational plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis, performance metrics, and process improvement methodologies.
