Job description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Marketing Manager to be our clients first key hire in the on-the-ground sales department. This individual will initially work closely with the head of marketing and the co-founder on technical marketing tasks, driving key initiatives and strategies. As the business scales, this role will evolve to include the responsibility of hiring, managing, and leading a high-performing marketing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in media buying, influencer marketing, branding, and e-commerce, with a deep understanding of the GCC market.

Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that align with company goals, with a focus on driving growth in the GCC region.
  • Technical Work: Collaborate closely with the head of marketing on hands-on tasks, including campaign management, digital marketing, and content creation, until a team is established.
  • Media Buying: Manage and optimize media buying efforts across various platforms to maximize ROI and reach target audiences effectively.
  • Influencer Marketing: Identify, engage, and manage relationships with influencers to enhance brand visibility and credibility in key markets.
  • Branding: Strengthen BasmalaBeads brand presence through innovative campaigns, ensuring consistent messaging and positioning across all channels.
  • E-commerce Management: Oversee and optimize e-commerce operations, including website management, digital campaigns, and online sales funnels to drive revenue growth.
  • Team Building: Lead the recruitment, hiring, and management of a high-performing marketing team as the company scales, leveraging your understanding of the local hiring market.
  • Market Insights: Provide valuable insights into the GCC market, identifying opportunities and trends to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the co-founder and head of marketing to support decision-making, ideation, and the execution of key projects.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in marketing, with a strong background in media buying, influencer marketing, branding, and e-commerce.
  • GCC Market Knowledge: Proven experience in the GCC market, with a deep understanding of regional consumer behavior and marketing channels.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficient in using marketing tools and platforms for campaign management, analytics, and optimization.
  • Leadership: Ability to work independently and take initiative, with experience in managing projects and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Results-oriented: A track record of delivering measurable results through well-executed marketing strategies.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Arabic.
