Client Overview:
Our client is a dynamic organization with diverse business interests across multiple sectors, including investment management, community management, and personal finance. SHV. Fund, Stakeholder Capital, and Syntaxlabs. They seek a highly organized and trustworthy individual to join their team as a Fractional Bookkeeper and Executive Assistant (EA). This role is integral to maintaining accurate financial records and supporting various operational functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping and Financial Management:
- Manage QuickBooks Online for three different businesses, ensuring accurate and timely financial data entry and record-keeping.
- Handle treasury functions, including reviewing invoices and processing payments.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Assist with personal finance management, providing snapshots of accounts and performing tax loss harvesting across investment accounts.
- Manage QuickBooks Online for three different businesses, ensuring accurate and timely financial data entry and record-keeping.
- Executive Assistance and Operational Support:
- Perform ad hoc operational tasks, such as filing paperwork, completing forms, and other executive assistant duties.
- Support the investment and fund management team with bookkeeping and accounting functions.
- Maintain organized documentation and ensure compliance with US GAAP accounting standards.
- Provide administrative support to the CEO, including managing schedules, organizing meetings, and handling correspondence.

- Additional Duties:
- Develop and implement efficient processes for managing financial records and operational tasks.
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects, meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to support various business operations and projects.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in bookkeeping, particularly within fund and investment management settings.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles.
Prior experience with QuickBooks Online is essential.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of creating structure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work most EST hours to accommodate business operations.
- Demonstrated trustworthiness and integrity, with a background in known corporate environments.
- Bonus: Experience in cryptocurrency and on-chain financial management.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in bookkeeping and executive assistance roles.
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and other financial software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
