About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Licensed Pharmacist to join our team in Texas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, counseling patients, and ensuring compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations. Key Responsibilities

  • Medication Dispensing: Accurately prepare, dispense, and distribute prescriptions while adhering to legal and ethical guidelines.
  • Patient Counseling: Provide expert advice to patients on medication use, potential side effects, and interactions with other drugs.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws governing pharmacy operations.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, ensuring medications are stored and handled appropriately.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes, addressing any concerns related to prescriptions.
  • Clinical Review: Review prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential interactions.
  • Training and Supervision: Provide guidance to pharmacy technicians and support staff as needed.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (BPharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Active and unrestricted Texas Pharmacist License.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a retail, hospital, or clinical pharmacy setting preferred (new graduates are welcome to apply).
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals and their clinical applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in pharmacy software systems and tools.
