Position Summary and Essential Functions:

Seeking a detail-oriented individual to provide temporary project 3-4 months support with accounting tasks including data entry, invoice processing, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Process invoices and purchase orders
  • Data entry into accounting software
  • Record financial/accounting transaction activity for OFN and its subsidiaries
  • Reconcile bank accounts
  • Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions
  • Filing and organizing accounting documents
  • Perform other duties and projects assigned by accounting management staff

Required Education and Experience:

  • 2-5 years of direct accounting experience preferably in a nonprofit environment
  • An associate degree in accounting is a plus.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience with MIP Fund Accounting software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint
  • Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Pro
  • Understanding of accounting principles, particularly nonprofit accounting
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a timely manner
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Mondays and Fridays may be remote.
