Based in San Francisco, they have production facilities in the Southeastern United States and are expanding sales of the eco-friendly products they grow.


About the Role:

They are looking for an experienced QuickBooks Accountant (AP/AR) to manage and process accounts payable and receivable in addition to consolidating all company contracts, including supplier and vendor agreements, into a centralized database.

Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable and Receivable Management: Process and manage AP/AR transactions accurately and promptly, recording invoices, payments, and receipts in QuickBooks.

  • Account Reconciliation and Issue Resolution: Reconcile financial accounts regularly, ensuring accurate record-keeping and resolving discrepancies related to payables and receivables.

  • Contract Database Organization: Gather, organize, and maintain all company contracts, including supplier and vendor agreements, in a centralized database.

  • Contract Documentation and Updates: Ensure contract information is accurate and up-to-date while incorporating new contracts into the database with proper documentation.

  • Financial Reporting and Collaboration: Generate financial reports and provide insights to support decision-making, collaborating with other departments to streamline AP/AR and contract processes.

  • Month-End and Year-End Support: Assist with month-end and year-end financial close activities to ensure compliance and accuracy in reporting.

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, are a must.

  • Adherence to the US time zone is a must.

  • Proven experience as an Accountant with a focus on AP and AR.

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks is a must.

  • Familiarity with contract management and organization.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and best practices.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
