About the Role

We are seeking an Advanced Support Specialist to join our clients innovative team. A leading network of community development financial institutions (CDFIs) empowers underserved communities by expanding access to capital and financial services. In this role, you will provide high-level administrative and operational support, ensuring the smooth execution of processes and assisting with complex tasks. Your expertise will be critical in enhancing organizational efficiency and delivering exceptional support to the team.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support

  • Manage and coordinate complex schedules, meetings, and events.

  • Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations with a high degree of accuracy.

  • Maintain records, files, and databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.

Operational Excellence

  • Serve as a point of escalation for resolving administrative challenges and implementing solutions.

  • Develop and refine administrative processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Act as a liaison between departments, vendors, and stakeholders to facilitate effective communication.

  • Support leadership in preparing documentation and reports for meetings and presentations.

  • Train and mentor junior administrative staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Special Projects

  • Lead or assist in special initiatives, ensuring timely and successful completion.

  • Conduct research, compile data, and present findings for decision-making purposes.

  • Track project progress, identify roadblocks, and coordinate with relevant parties to address them.

Qualifications and Skills

Education

  • Associates or bachelors degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.

Experience

  • Proven years of experience in advanced administrative or support roles.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex administrative tasks and processes.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and office management tools.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
