Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all aspects of the project, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be working closely with clients, subcontractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets. Ensure that all necessary resources (personnel, equipment, materials) are allocated efficiently.
- Monitor project costs and ensure the project remains within budget. Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality.
- Supervise and manage project teams, including subcontractors, suppliers, and labor forces. Provide guidance and support to ensure team performance.
- Oversee the implementation of quality control standards throughout the construction process to meet regulatory requirements and client specifications.
- Enforce strict safety standards to prevent accidents on the job site. Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the client and the construction team. Provide regular updates on progress, potential issues, and any necessary changes to the project scope.
- Identify and resolve issues that may arise during the project lifecycle, including delays, conflicts, and unexpected costs.
- Ensure all project documentation is accurate and up to date, including contracts, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and permits.
- Ensure that all construction activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards.
- Oversee the final inspection, commissioning, and handover process to the client, ensuring all project deliverables are met.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, and strong focus on oil and gas projects.
- Middle East experience is essential.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering construction projects on time and within budget.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, project management tools, and software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Builder trend).
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing project demands.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards & Procedures, Industry Codes, Standards and Practices, and other codes used in the project; excellent technical background and skills in industrial environments.
