Job Summary:
The Vice President, APAC Market Government, Municipalities, Transit & Fleets will drive strategic growth for the company across the Asia-Pacific region. This executive will lead regional go-to-market strategies, enterprise partnerships, and commercial operations with a focus on government, municipal, transit, and commercial fleet sectors.
As the face of the APAC business, this role is critical in establishing the company as the go-to partner for sustainable mobility solutions in Australia and developing broader reach across Asia through strategic channels and partnerships. Success will be measured by revenue growth, market penetration, high-impact sales strategies, and the ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, scale-up environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Growth: Define and execute regional go-to-market and business development strategies tailored to APACs unique market environments.
Market Penetration: Identify and close strategic opportunities with fleet operators, logistics firms, transit agencies, and government entities.
Sales Leadership: Build, scale, and coach a high-performing sales and BD team with strong KPIs and quota attainment ($3M+ targets).
P&L Ownership: Lead regional financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and ROI analysis.
Government Engagement: Navigate complex procurement processes, regulatory frameworks, and EV incentive programs.
Operational Collaboration: Partner cross-functionally with product, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery.
Strategic Partnerships: Develop and negotiate with OEMs, energy providers, software vendors, and other ecosystem partners to enable scalable, long-term growth.
Qualifications:
Must-Have Experience:
Regional Strategy Leadership: Proven success creating and executing go-to-market strategies in APAC markets.
Consultative Enterprise SaaS or Services Sales: 7+ years in B2B sales leadership roles involving government or large enterprise accounts, with a demonstrated track record of meeting quotas of at least $3M per annum
Regulatory & Procurement Navigation: In-depth experience in combining key policy direction, grants and market environment to target accounts.
Market Development: Track record of entering and growing new markets, securing anchor clients, and managing partnerships.
Team Building: Has led, scaled, and coached regional BD/sales teams with performance KPIs.
Experience in growth scale-up : Some experience in high growth companies or high growth divisions of established companies
Nice-to-Have Experience:
EV/Infrastructure Knowledge: Familiarity with charging, fleet electrification, and energy ecosystems.
Language & Cultural Fluency: Multilingual or high cultural competency across APAC regions.
Technology-Enabled Sales: Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce or HubSpot and sales analytics.
- Master Qualified: MBA or similar is highly regarded, however real sales results is more important.
