Job Summary:
You will be mainly responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating phases of work through functional supervisory personnel, assigned activities with various work groups, and ensuring maintenance of structures, facilities, and associated systems. Participate in the conceptual development of the project and oversee its organization, scheduling, and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and schedule pipeline installation phases logically, ensuring efficient resource utilization, coordination, and supervision of site personnel and subcontractors involved in pipeline construction activities.
  • Determine project requirements for pipeline routes, trenching, welding, and testing; allocate tasks; and lead the construction team to optimize manpower, specialized equipment (e.g., side booms, pipe layers, welding rigs), and materials for efficient pipeline execution.
  • Inspect installation progress to ensure compliance with pipeline quality standards, welding codes (e.g., API, ASME), and client specifications, while proactively resolving technical issues related to alignment, joint integrity, and testing.
  • Monitor safety compliance on pipeline right-of-ways and worksites, review ongoing operations (e.g., hot work, hydro testing), and enforce strict adherence to safety regulations, environmental controls, and company procedures.
  • Advise on procurement and timely delivery of pipe materials, fittings, coatings, and equipment, ensuring alignment with construction sequences and minimizing downtime due to logistics.
  • Analyze pipeline project performance, review daily progress reports and inspection logs, address potential delays or cost overruns, and recommend corrective actions to maintain schedule and budget adherence.
  • Oversee subcontractor selection and supervise their specialized pipeline tasks (e.g., HDD, tie-ins, coating), ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion of their scope.
  • Ensure proper project closeout for pipeline installations, including as-built documentation, regulatory compliance (e.g., pressure test records, alignment sheets), and support staff development through technical and safety training programs.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of overall experience with at least 7 years of pipeline construction management experience in the oil and gas, petrochemical industry or any other similar fields.
  • proven track record in managing major industrial EPC construction projects.
  • Strong expertise in project/construction management, including ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System, work phase planning, and resource optimization (manpower, equipment, and materials).
  • Knowledge of Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards & Procedures, Industry Codes, and other relevant standards, with a strong technical background in an industrial environment.
  • Middle East experience is essential, with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of multidisciplinary site activities.
  • Creative thinker, excellent organizer, and experienced leader with the ability to motivate and foster teamwork.
  • Effective in managing a multinational workforce in dynamic work environments, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in engineering; preferably a licensed engineer.
