API/ Web Services Developer

About the Role

We are hiring an experienced API/Web Services Developer to join our clients team. In this role, you will focus on developing and maintaining robust web services and APIs to support various applications. From architecture design and technology selection to implementation and deployment, you will play a key role in ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance of backend systems.

Key Responsibilities

API and Web Services Development

• Design, develop, and implement web services and APIs to support application integration.

• Troubleshoot and resolve backend and server-side issues efficiently.

• Optimize API performance and ensure secure data exchange.

Database Management

• Develop and maintain database structures to support API functionality.

• Troubleshoot and resolve common database issues.

• Ensure efficient use of relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server.

Collaboration and Architecture Design

• Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to design scalable and secure solutions.

• Participate in technology selection and architecture design phases.

• Document processes, solutions, and best practices.

Qualifications and Skills

Education

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• Proven experience in developing APIs and web services.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in server-side languages such as PHP, Python, Ruby, Java, JavaScript, or .Net.

• Strong knowledge of database technologies like MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server.
